Description of the field observations :

1) CTD casts (P,T,S,light transimission, DO, insitu fluorescense)
2) Rosette samples (for dissolved oxygen, salinity, nutrients, pigments, phytoplankton, bacteria and microzooplankton populations)
3) Primary Production in situ experiments (according to 14C and 15N uptake rates)
4) Zooplankton net samples (taxonomy, biomass, egg and fecal pellet production, gut content)
5) POM (POC, PON, ATP, lipids, proteins, nucleid acids)
6) Underwater spectral irradiance
7) Aggregation processes using snow camera
8) DOC
