Objectives :

to perform a synoptic investigation of the main processes (physical, biological and geochemical) occuring in water column and to investigate some parameters of the benthic/pelagic coupling;
to strengthen the colaboration between the European laboratories participating in the WPs 2,3,4 of the MTP-II-MATER
to promote the collaboration with the non-European countries such as Israel, Cyprus, Tunisia etc.
