DESCRIPTION :
RCM-7 is a self-recording current meter which records the vector averaged speed and direction over a sampling interval controlled by a crystal clock and the instantaneous values of temperature, conductivity (optional) and water pressure (optional).
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS :
The instrument consists of a vane and a recording unit, which is equiped with a savonious-like Rotor, Magnetic Compass, Fenwall Thermistor and optionally with an Inductive Cell and a Silicon Piezoresistive Bridge. The data are stored in EEPROMs. Depth Capability, 2000m
